Could you post some of my midge photos and notes on your mystery midge
page?

My best guess for the first 3 photos is Paraphaenocladius, though it's
hard to be certain as the drawings in Wiederholm don't capture all the
details of the actual specimens:

I have 2 specimen types that I've lumped under
'limnophyes/paralimnophyes', though they seem to be consistently
distinguishable and I'm guessing that I might have both limnophyes and
paralimnophyes though I'm not too certain about which is which:

And the final pair - are these pseudosmittia?

A couple more midge photos.

Looks Diamesinae-like, but not quite like other Diamesa that I've seen.
The median tooth (teeth?) looks pretty distinctive as seen in the photo, 8
pairs of laterals, and a bit of a ventromental plate bulge showing. I have
a handful of these in a long core.

Any corrections, confirmations would be appreciated.
